Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
This policy explains how we collect, use and protect information from visitors to this website. It is designed to support privacy requirements in Israel, the EU/EEA, the United Kingdom, the United States (federal layer and California) and Canada.
Overview
The Softec Vision website is an informational catalog for custom technology furniture. It has no online store, payments or user accounts. The main interaction is browsing the catalog and contacting us for a quote or consultation.
This policy is designed to support common privacy principles across several jurisdictions. Where requirements conflict, we apply the stricter rule.
Who we are
The data controller is Softec Vision Ltd. You can reach us using the details in the Contact section.
Implementation note: a physical business address has not yet been supplied. Legal counsel must determine whether omitting the address satisfies controller-identity, consumer-notice and other applicable disclosure requirements in the relevant jurisdictions, and the address should be completed before publication.
Information we collect
We collect limited information:
- Information you provide — when you contact us through WhatsApp, telephone or the quote-request form, we receive the details you choose to share: for example your name, company, phone, email, country, project type, product of interest, room dimensions and requirements, and an optional photo, sketch or PDF you attach.
- Local preferences — your language preference, accessibility settings and consent choice are stored in your browser (localStorage) to operate the site.
- Technical data for spam prevention — when you submit the quote-request form, we derive a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself) to limit abuse of the form; it is not used to identify you.
- Usage data (subject to consent) — if and when analytics is enabled, aggregate usage data is collected, only after valid consent in regions where consent is required.
How we use information
We use information to:
- respond to inquiries and provide quotes and consultation;
- design and manufacture custom solutions for the need you describe;
- operate and improve the website;
- meet applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for targeted advertising. We do not carry out automated decision-making with legal effects.
Legal bases for processing
For visitors in the EU/EEA and the United Kingdom, we rely on the following bases under the GDPR/UK GDPR: consent (for non-essential storage and analytics), legitimate interests (operating and securing the site) and steps prior to entering a contract (responding to your inquiry). In Israel we act in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Analytics
We intend to use Google Analytics 4. The banner, Consent Mode v2 signals and GPC handling described above are built and active for every visitor; GA4 itself loads only once both a measurement ID is configured on our side and you have accepted analytics — no GA4 measurement ID or GTM container is currently configured, so no analytics requests are sent yet either way. Once enabled, aggregate events we record after consent include: product pages viewed, WhatsApp links clicked, a quote request started and completed, the comparison tool used, and the site language switched — no names, contact details or message content are ever sent to GA4. We do not use Google Ads or the Meta Pixel.
International transfers
Our service providers may process information in different countries. Where information about EU/EEA or UK visitors is transferred outside those areas, we aim to rely on recognized transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses). Transfer details should be confirmed with providers and legal counsel.
Data retention
We keep inquiries and contact details for as long as needed to respond and manage the business relationship, then delete or archive them in line with legal obligations. The consent record is kept for up to 12 months or until you change it. Local preferences remain in your browser until you clear them.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent. In the EU/UK you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Israel there is a right of access and correction under the Protection of Privacy Law. To exercise rights, contact us using the details in the Contact section.
United States and California
This policy covers a United States federal layer and California requirements only. Subject to the CCPA/CPRA, California residents may request information about categories of data, and have rights to access, delete and correct, as well as the right to Do Not Sell or Share. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising. We honor the browser Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a do-not-sell/share request before any advertising tag fires. A conservative global opt-in default does not remove GPC and "Do Not Sell or Share" obligations.
We do not claim nationwide US compliance; only the federal and California packs are implemented. Other US state privacy laws may apply and require separate review.
Canada and Québec
For visitors in Canada, we aim to act in accordance with PIPEDA and provincial privacy laws, including Québec (Law 25), Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta. We request consent for non-essential storage, and provide access and correction.
Québec may require French-language content. Because the requested site languages are English and Hebrew only, this must be flagged for legal/product review.
Children’s privacy
The site is intended for business customers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information. However, no transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The last-updated date appears at the top of the page. Material changes will be highlighted where required.
